The Health Department of China announced: ban the use of bromate as an additive in flour
The Health Department of China announced on May 30, 2005 to ban the use of bromate as an additive in flour after July 1. Puratos China reacted quickly and set up a team to keep close contact with relevant departments of the government. We followed strictly the instructions from the Hygiene Bureau and the Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision.
